Party at the Sherman Theater!

You are invited to a party on Thursday, August 28 at the Sherman Theater in Downtown Stroudsburg to watch Senator’s Obama’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention. This will be a live satellite broadcast and this party will be the next best thing to having a seat on the floor of the convention! Watch this historic speech with other enthusiastic Obama supporters from Monroe County. Late word is that Al Gore will be speaking that same night. Doors open at 8:30 pm and Obama will speak at around 10. Mark your calendar and invite friends to come too.
And you don’t have to wait until next week to get involved! Volunteers are welcome at the Obama HQ at 729B Main Street. Call John Spears at HQ directly at (570) 951-9099. Activities include voter registration, phone banking and canvassing. There’s an activity to fit every schedule.
